Artist's Choice:"Concord, MA"
Welcome to Historic Concord!

2007
Hello!
My current show is called Concord. I decided to focus on a place that means a lot to me. I love the small town feel of Concord, MA. There are also many famous writers to spawn from Concord, such as Alcott, Throeau, Hawthorne, and Emerson. Walking around Walden Pond is so peaceful and beautiful. I have found many four-leaf clovers in the area on the two visits that I made there. The first was in May 2000 and the second was in August 2006. The photographs are display a combined collection from both visits. I hope that you enjoy the images, and I encourage you to explore this historical town if you can. The images are available in the gallery section of this site.

If there is a certain type of work of mine that you would like to see, drop me a line and I will consider it for the future. Thanks!

If you would like to be included in a list to announce future shows please send your e-mail address to cynthia@cynthiawilson.net.

I have been focusing on my book "I am a Librarian." When it is completed, it will help to break down the long-standing stereotypes surrounding library professionals and show them for the diverse, exciting group of people they truly are! The project is well underway right now, and feedback has been tremendous! I have recently redesigned my other website to include some of the photographs of librarians, pictures from my trip cross county, and to incorporate instant messaging in libraries, as a way to give back to the librarians who have helped me. For more information, visit www.iamalibrarian.com.

Recently, I have also been taking pictures for a local music magazine called The Compendium, showing my pictures in Media, PA on Second Saturdays and adding images from my digital camera to Flickr. You can see images at www.flickr.com/photos/iamalibrarian.

"Animals & Insects" is now available in the archives section of this site. It represents the variety of animals that I have encountered over the years. I have always looked to animals and insects for their meaning and message in life. It stems from reading of Native American cultures, but I have found a great relevance to my life.

Please check out the archives section for other previous shows.
